Safeguarding Children: New Policy and Standards 2024 produced by the National Board for Safeguarding Children in the Catholic Church in Ireland.

There are now three core standards to the Church’s Safeguarding Children Policy

1. Leadership, Governance and Accountability
2. Nurturing a Culture of Safeguarding
3. Responding Pastorally and Reporting according to Civil and Canon Law
