Child Safeguarding Training Level 2 -Face to Face Saturday Session

WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS COURSE

This full day session is Mandatory for all Clergy and Group Leaders who have regular or direct contact with Children and Young People.

COURSE CONTENT

  • The expected standards of performance in Safeguarding Children within the Catholic Church in Ireland.
  • Creating a common understanding of “How to safeguard children and develop best practice arrangements across all aspects of work and contact with Children and Young People.
  • Recognising, responding and procedures for reporting a concern in relation to a Child or Young Person.
  • Working safely with children and Young People.
  • The 7 National Standards for Safeguarding Children in the Catholic Church in Ireland.
  • ACE’s awareness.

COURSE LENGTH AND TIME

The training will start promptly at 10:00am and finish at approximately 04:00pm. Light refreshments will be served during the day.

These virtual evening sessions are Mandatory for all Clergy, Deacons, and Volunteer Group Leaders who have regular or direct contact with Children and Young People.
