The Diocesan Safeguarding Committee is consulting on the development of a new Safeguarding Plan for Down and Connor Diocese covering the next three year period.
We would like to hear from you on the outcomes, the main priorities for Safeguarding in the Diocese over the next three years and the measures that will tell us if we are achieving these.

At 1o am, Bishop Noel Treanor will celebrate Mass in St Peter’s Cathedral, Belfast, to mark this day of prayer.

A New Parish Safeguarding Committee Handbook has been developed which provides a ‘go to’ guide offering ‘at a glance’ practical advice for Parish Safeguarding Committees in their role of promoting a culture of safeguarding into the life of Parishes. This can be accessed in the Resources Section of the website.
