Across education settings, youth services and wider organisations, images play an important role in communication and engagement; however, as technology evolves, they can be more easily altered, reused or exploited, and this should inform how they are used across digital platforms.
Developed by the UK Online Harms Early Warning Working Group, which includes the SBNI, with input and review from the Online Safety Committee and cross-departmental partners, the guidance sets out best practice and considerations for managing the use of images.
