Child Safeguarding Training Level 2 Refresher
120 Cliftonville Road, Belfast, BT14 6LAThe Training Room, 120 Cliftonville Road, BELFAST, BT14 6LAThis Refresher session is all Clergy, Volunteer Group Leaders who have regular or direct contact with Children and Young People and have already completed Child Level 2 training 3 or more years ago.
COURSE CONTENT
- The expected standards of performance in Safeguarding Children within the Catholic Church in Ireland.
- Creating a common understanding of “How to safeguard children and develop best practice arrangements across all aspects of work and contact with Children and Young People.
- Recognising, responding and procedures for reporting a concern in relation to a Child or Young Person.
- Working safely with children and Young People.
- The 7 National Standards for Safeguarding Children in the Catholic Church in Ireland.
- ACE’s awareness.

These virtual evening sessions are Mandatory for all Clergy and Group and Deputy Group Leaders who have regular or direct contact with Children and Young People.
