This training is for clergy and volunteers who have regular and or direct contact with adults – coordinating/organising adult activities (e.g. SPRED Leaders, Luncheon Club Leaders, visitation team Leader, Leaders of Eucharistic Ministers).The training will be delivered virtually on 15th and 16th May 24* starting at 6:30pm (total length 5 hrs – 2.5hrs per eve).

*FULLY BOOKED*Child Safeguarding Level 1 Information Seminar - Virtual Evening Session 6:30pm
This virtual evening session is for all Church staff/volunteers who are required to abide by “Good Safeguarding Practice”.
The course content includes;
- Legal context of Safeguarding Children
- What is meant by Child Abuse and types of abuse
- Signs and Indicators
- Responding and Reporting and who to report to
- Codes of Conduct for staff/volunteers working with children
- ACE’s awareness
This session will be delivered via zoom. It starts promptly at 6:30pm and lasts approx 90 minutes.
