This webinar with ASCERT  will focus on safe engagement with parishioners/members of the public who are experiencing mental health crisis and/or addiction issues.

This  session is being offered in the first instance, to Clergy, Sacristans, and Parish Secretaries in the Belfast area on 25^th April 2022 at 2pm via Zoom (length 3 hours)

The course content includes;

• Legal context of Safeguarding Children
• What is meant by Child Abuse and types of abuse
• Signs and Indicators
• Responding and Reporting and who to report to
• Codes of Conduct for staff/volunteers working with children
