Child Safeguarding Training Level 2 – Deacons

This full day session is Mandatory for all Deacons and trainee Deacons, who have regular or direct contact with Children and Young People.

COURSE CONTENT

• The expected standards of performance in Safeguarding Children within the Catholic Church in Ireland.
• Creating a common understanding of "How to safeguard children and develop best practice arrangements across all aspects of work and contact with Children and Young People.
• Recognising, responding and procedures for reporting a concern in relation to a Child or Young Person.
• Working safely with children and Young People.
• The 7 National Standards for Safeguarding Children in the Catholic Church in Ireland.
• ACE's awareness.
