• Provide an opportunity to reflect on some of the challenges you are facing in safeguarding today and encourage a culture of safeguarding within our Church.
• To refresh your knowledge in relation to recognising, responding and reporting.

CONTENT

• The expected standards of performance in Safeguarding Children within the Catholic Church in Ireland.
• Creating a common understanding of how to safeguard children and develop best practice arrangements across all aspects of work and contact with Children and Young People.
• Recognising, responding and procedures for reporting a concern in relation to a Child or Young Person.
• ACE’s awareness.

SESSION TIMES/LOCATIONS

The training will be in Clonard Monastery, Belfast (Enter by the main Monastery door.

This session  is an evening session which starts at 7:00pm and will last no longer than 2 hours.
