This full day session is Mandatory for all Clergy and Group Leaders who have regular or direct contact with Children and Young People.
COURSE CONTENT
- The expected standards of performance in Safeguarding Children within the Catholic Church in Ireland.
- Creating a common understanding of “How to safeguard children and develop best practice arrangements across all aspects of work and contact with Children and Young People.
- Recognising, responding and procedures for reporting a concern in relation to a Child or Young Person.
- Working safely with children and Young People.
- The 7 National Standards for Safeguarding Children in the Catholic Church in Ireland.
- ACE’s awareness.
COURSE LENGTH AND TIME
The training will start promptly at 10:00am and finish at approximately 04:00pm. Light refreshments will be served during the day.

Child Level 2 Child Safeguarding Refresher Training - Face to Face
120 Cliftonville Road, Belfast, BT14 6LAThe Training Room, 120 Cliftonville Road, BELFAST, BT14 6LAThis training is for anyone who has already completed the full day/2 evening sessions of the Child Level 2 Safeguarding training 3 years or more ago and needs a refresher session.
This session starts at 1:00pm and will last no longer than 3 hours.
